Negative: Top floor bedrooms as u had to climb steep stairs to get to them and the 4th bedroom is hidden behind a small door in the 3rd bedroom. Not ideal for grown men but managed as we are only working in the area.

Positive: Beautiful location, the cottage was beautiful ly decorated and really well equipped. Lovely log burner made it really cosy .
Negative: Would be fantastic if it had a downstairs toilet. Loft bedroom the stairs very steep, but lovely rooms . *remember a first aid kit and extra toilet rolls ! Oh and logs for the log burner

Positive: Excellent for a family of 6 people. Very good location.
Negative: It was very clean, but the previous occupants had had a dog and the downstairs, especially smelt of dog when we arrived. This did improve as the week progressed, but we had to buy an air fresher spray to help remove the smell.

Positive: Spotlessly clean, high quality fixtures and fittings, beautifully decorated in a stylish and modern aesthetic whilst keeping a traditional cottage feel.
Negative: The windows need some sort of sound proofing. Not sure if this is possible due to the age and style of the windows but they allow a lot of noise to penetrate. The business opposite the house is visited by heavy vehicles early every morning and although not constant, the type of vehicles (heavy goods, lorries, vans etc) that pass the property cause considerable noise.
Summary: Lovely stay in a beautiful, traditional cottage with all of the modern touches necessary to keep all ages of the family

Positive: Lovely home, set up beautifully for children. Loved the games, nice kitchen. Nicely decorated.
Negative: Very steep staircase to the kids room but not an issue for us. One of the showers wasn’t great, just a bit temperamental. None of these things were a problem.
